Standard Photo Releases
1) Sponsors or Promoter’s Release; It is agreed that the actual event “Sponsor’s,” and “Event Promoters” are welcome to reuse the attached photos as they see fit to promote future events or write copy about the subject event without further release. If the photos are used “in bulk,” we would request photo credits be given as “photos provided by www.ForHomeLoan.info” with a working link to such website included (as possible).
2) Booth Sponsor’s Release; as above, those businesses and services that had an actual “Booth” at the conference or event are welcome to reuse the attached photos as they see fit to promote their business or services, future event participation or write copy without further release. If the photos are used “in bulk,” we would request photo credits be given as “photos provided by www.ForHomeLoan.info” with a working link to such website included (as possible).
3) Parties Pictured Within; If your picture appears clearly in any photo within, you are allowed to reprint or reuse such individual picture(s) as the parties pictured see fit to promote their business or services, future event participation or write copy without further release. We would request photo credits be given as “photos provided by www.ForHomeLoan.info” with a working link to such website included (as possible); but not required.
Other Press Services Photo Requests; Please refer to the event title and the actual picture number listed below each photo when requesting copies of pictures. Please note… all pictures are digital; we no longer shoot on film, but it is very easy for you to take the picture files we provide and have professional prints made. The file size we shoot in is typically large enough to provide magazine quality prints at full 3’ to 4’ dimensional poster sizes as your photo processor is able to print. Standard 8” x 10” reprints should come out exceptionally well.
“RAW” or “NEF” Files; Except for special events, and upon request we do not shoot in “RAW” digital format… but we do have the capabilities to do so. In practice we have found that our “JPEG” fine file types work very well. We will gladly try and work with your events photographic requirements if requested ahead of time and shoot in combination “RAW & JPEG” as we believe required, and provide RAW file formatted pictures. (Very large file sizes)
Full Size Copies of the Pictures; Typically our photographers shoot all pictures in digital “JPEG” format, in a “Fine” setting, at about 10 Megapixels in size. We post these pictures in reduced size on the internet for viewing purposes and for ease of copying such for internet usage, but upon request, and as time allows will provide full size pictures either by e-mail or on CD or DVD as file sizes and time allows. Depending on the request a small handling fee may be charged to cover actual costs.
Color Correction & Photo Shop Work; All photos are typically posted with minimal color corrections or “Photoshop” retouching. Please understand that it is common for photographers graphics professionals to retouch and correct for lighting conditions, types of lights the event was held under, cropping and for cosmetic purposes. Because of past requests we post these pictures pretty much as shot from the camera in order to allow the final user the maximum in flexibility and image quality. We only delete photos that catch the subject in less than flattering position or pose. If you do not have the ability or have access to Photo retouching software we will gladly retouch requested pictures to the best of our abilities without charge, upon request.
Legal Remedies; It is agreed as a condition of www.ForHomeLoan.info attendance at any event or conference that www.ForHomeLoan.info, website photographers, staff and/or affiliates will be held harmless for any photos that we somehow fail to take, mistakes, errors and/or for our failure to attend in part or in full any event or conference. It is further agreed that “we” are at no time to be considered as financially responsible (in any manner) for any failure within our control or beyond our control, and do not act as primary “Press” or “Photo Staff” for any event or conference.
