Ed Wright (Wright Team Leader) filled out his first loan applications as a General Contractor and actually built homes before becoming a full time lender… so he honestly understands Construction Loans and what it takes to qualify for them, and “how to work the system” to what you need done funded accordingly. It is possible to build or remodel for less out of pocket than you think; Central City Mortgage offers several Construction Lending Programs including the most popular “Single Application” loans that postpone the first payments until after the home is completed!

Construction Loans; Planning Stages; At risk of making Construction Lending sound easier than it is... it really does not get much easier. You Pick the lot you want, paid for or not. You Pick the General Building Contractor. They have to be licensed (with a history of building SFR), but we do not require completion bonds or Contractor Financial Statements.
