Sunday Brunch Buffet Reviewed
Somewhere in the price range of Sunday Brunch Buffets comes a diminishing value point… and so it was a recent discussion of favorite brunch destinations began with a couple of our reviewing partners. To no surprise the “Mission Inn Restaurant’s Sunday Brunch” became the focal point, because at $34.00 per person it ranks at the top end of the Inland Empire price range… and for the record, is worth just about every penny of it’s fare.

For those unfamiliar with Riverside’s famous “Mission Inn” we have included the link to their website http://www.missioninn.com ; nothing that can be said here will do justice to the style and ambiance which we will settle for rating very highly. The Mission Inn is an impressive destination for any business lunch, dinner or family special occasion.

As for the food review… you pretty much get what you pay for, and then some more. There is nothing cheap about the quality or presentation of this buffet, which is why it ranks at the top of our buffet reviews. The dining choices range from platters full of chilled jumbo shrimp to truly succulent prime rib and everything between. Waffle and Omelet bars, breakfast delicacies, chicken, pork and beef dishes plus amazingly good sides. A full salad bar and dessert bar plus basic beverages and Champaign are all included.

The plus with anything at the Mission Inn is the Mission Inn itself. Possibly a little starched and stogy at first glance the reality is the warmth and elegance of the surroundings combines with a level of professionalism and service found at few other dining destinations in the price range. It really is a value

Also of note is Mission Inn Restaurant’s new “State of the Art” display kitchen and new menu options specializing in what the Mission Inn is calling their Chef's Signature “Comfort Foods.” Not for the financially challenged, but a perfect location for a dinner that is sure to impress at comparatively competitive pricing. The food is exceptional.

Depending on the time of the year and/or occasion, reservations are highly recommended… the Mission Inn is a popular dining destination with multiple restaurants to choose from.

Sunday Brunch is served on Sunday’s between 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
