Beware of the “Title & Escrow”
Counter Offer Trap;
Over the past years, with the rise of “In-House” services as office profit centers the practice of countering every purchase offer with a listing agent request for “Title and Escrow” services for their “In-House” provides the DRE with a traceable target. Please consider that it will only be a matter of time before some savvy attorney, spurred on by the likes of Ralph Nader or other politically inspired investigation brings on a class-action lawsuit (against greedy Realtors), or knowledgeable buyers start setting up what should be easy small claims lawsuits. The penalties are spelled out as “3-Times the amount paid” automatically… so how hard could it be, and is it really worth the risk?

New Way To Catch ATM Robbers
God forbid you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, but if so, you can secretly notify the police of the robbery by simply entering your Pin # in reverse. For example if your pin number is 1234, you would punch it in as 4321 (reversed).
The ATM is programed to recognize that your pin number has been entered in backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine. Without any visible sign anything is out of the ordinary the ATM machine will still give you the money requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you. This information was forwarded to Ed Wright by one of Central City Mortgage's valued affiliates (Thank You Chuck Wade). You may want to ask your bank about this little known emergency ATM feature... Perhaps this little secret trick will help stop, or at least catch more ATM Robbers. |

Dumps Chef Emeril Lagasse
and Signs “Pretend Chefs” for Added Profits
CELEBRITY CHEF EMERIL LAGASSE was the Food Network, became their first star, and was the driving force behind the networks growing ratings. Over the past 15 years the lesser known "Network Stars" made one another famous as viewers tuned in to learn how to cook their favorite dishes from a growing list of chefs. As the networks ratings soared so did the name recognition of many of the networks celebrities, turning them into household names and marketable entities. As these “Chefs” grew in popularity so did their demands and egos… the shows became bigger and the original food network concept became lost among all the new faces seeking a place in the spotlight. Presently the network has announced it has canceled "Emeril Live," and few understand why; but it all boils down to profits. The food network is dumbing down their programming targeted to dedicated foodies and gourmet dining because many of their new “Celebrity Chefs” don’t want to share the wealth. Plain and simple, “The Network” wants a larger share of all of their “Chef’s” popularity, restaurants, book deals, advertising and other ventures they helped create. The established Network Chefs disagree, and understand that all the new crop of “Chefs” can’t honestly cook but are willing to share more of the profits.
